The aptly named Museum Hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey, is a truly special boutique hotel, lovingly restored from a combination of renovated caves and houses that once made up a ruined village. The 30 exquisite rooms and suites offer high levels of luxury and truly stunning views of the surrounding valleys and come decorated with a variety of unique antiques.

The rooms themselves are based on the original caves, which have been hewn out to form novel and exceptionally cozy accommodation.

‘Lil’a’, the hotel’s restaurant is housed in a magnificent setting with wood-paneled ceilings, ancient tapestries and food that combines traditional Turkish cuisine with the ancient flavors of Anatolia and Cappadocia that incorporate traces of Greek and Armenian influence from the early twentieth century.
